Description

Meet Frosty, the posable snow gryphon art doll! She is my first art doll ever and it was a long journey to the finish of this project. I began making her over a year ago. I made so many mistakes and repeated doing same parts to her and it sometimes made me so tired that I needed to take a long breaks and wait that motivation and the joy of making something returns. I needed to learn how to sculpt and make the doll as durable as I can which took a lot of time and experimenting. I'm so happy that she is finished now and I even have some new ideas for future art doll projects. I learned so much while making her and many life changing things have happened in my life during creating this art doll. That makes it even more special to me.

Frosty has internal wire skeleton inside making her posable. It runs trough her legs, wings, neck, tail and back so she is completely posable.
I sculpted the head and feet, then glued fur painstakingly to the head and hind paws. Painted eyes, beak and legs.
She is completely hand sewn. Synthetic fur fabric.
She is also super soft and huggable :)
She measures 75 cm (29,5 inches) from beak to tail and she is 23cm (9 inches) tall. Her wingspan is 71 cm (28 inches)
Not for sale!

Wow, this is so beautiful and lifelike, amazingly well done for your first art doll! :) It must have taken a lot of patience and planning to make. I tried making an art doll once but never had the patience to finish it, it was so much harder than needle felting... Sweating a little...
